OUR CHARITIES

Royal National Lifeboat Institution

We have chosen the RNLI because no matter your age, sex, race, religion, nationality or even species (our beloved pets) this wonderful charity will always answer your call for help. They have saved over 144,000 lives since 1824 - an average of 2 lives saved every day for 200 years!

The RNLI is a charity which anyone may need to use at some point (though hopefully never!). They rely completely on donations from the public to help provide their amazing selfless crews with vital equipment. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help preserve life at sea, whilst their seasonal lifeguards patrol busy beaches.

The RNLI also influence, supervise and educate people by explaining the risks and share safety knowledge with anyone going out to sea or to the coast.

Your donation is what makes this possible. You may need them one day.

OUR CHARITIES

Alzheimer’s Research UK

We believe in living your life to the very best, to venture on those adventures, take those chances and most importantly, make those treasured memories along the way. Alzheimer’s Disease affects around 6 in every 10 people with dementia in the UK, a huge percentage! And this disease can affect anyone of any age. It must be terrible, to live such an amazing life, only to forget it. And loved ones can only watch as this horrid disease takes over. Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer and 1 in 2 of us will be directly affected by it.

As the UK’s leading dementia research charity Alzheimer’s Research UK have invested in more than 1,000 projects since 1998 committing over £171 million of funding for ground-breaking research. This work fits into three themes that drive us towards a cure - treat, diagnose and prevent.

If nothing changes, 1 in 2 of us will be directly affected by dementia – either by developing the condition, caring for someone with it, or both. Alzheimer’s Research UK is determined to stop this from becoming a reality. With your support, they will continue to find a revolutionising way to treat, diagnose and prevent dementia. They exist for a cure.

You can be a part of their existence; you can help them find a cure.

OUR CHARITIES

Retraining of Racehorses

Retraining of Racehorses (ROR) is a charity that helps Thoroughbred horses who have retired from racing to find a new purpose and loving homes; offering retraining, rehoming support, and promoting their versatility in various equestrian sports. With no government funding, the charity relies solely on limited funds from public support.

Both Louis and Giorgia have strong equine backgrounds which started from a young age. Louis is a qualified Farrier, and Giorgia has ridden in ‘Point to Point' races herself! As a trainer and an owner, she has experienced the love and affection working with racehorses on a daily basis brings.

Since its launch in 2000, ROR has established itself as one of the country’s most important equine charities. They offer the highest standards of horse welfare and providing care and funding to former racehorses that would otherwise be vulnerable. On average, around 7000 horses leave British racing each year. With the aim to always be prepared, ROR has in place a nationwide infrastructure and safety net ready to take in and care for retired racehorses across the UK.

By promoting awareness of Thoroughbred horses versatility, ROR have helped to significantly reduce the risk of retired racehorses becoming unwanted and vulnerable. Your donation will help ROR continue their vital work; please support the future of our equine heroes!

Monviso Nepal Foundation

Monviso Nepal Foundation (MNF) is a charity established in the aftermath of the devastating 2015 earthquake that hit Nepal. Focusing on infrastructure, education and health care in the rural north eastern area of Nepal known as the Solukhumbu District. This charity has helped to rebuild as many villages as possible as well as provide aid to those affected.

In 2024, Louis spent over a month in Nepal climbing in the Himalayas. He met many of the local people, and many became friends with whom he keeps in touch with regularly. MNF is a charity that was pointed out to Louis by the local people themselves, who praised its work within the district. This inspired Louis and Giorgia to support MNF, and help to continue their work bettering the lives of people within the Solukhumbu District.

MNF help to construct school buildings, help provide scholarships to students for their school degree, motivate children for education and provide school uniforms. Alongside this MNF help give medicine, and organize dental and health camps for local people.
