THE WORLD'S TOUGHEST ROW
World’s Toughest Row brings together teams from all walks of life united by the same objective: to take on the unique challenge of crossing an ocean in a rowing boat. The atmosphere is electric as people help each other prepare for the challenge of the mighty Atlantic Ocean. Teams battle with sleep deprivation, salt sores, and physical extremes inflicted by the race. Rowers are left with their own thoughts, an expanse of the ocean and the job of getting the boat safely to the other side.
WHO ARE WE RAISING MONEY FOR?
The World's Toughest Row Atlantic is a high profile global event, which enables participating teams to raise significant funds and awareness for charities of their choosing. Each race team can choose one or many charities that are close to their hearts to support during their campaign. Not only does this raise much needed funds for the chosen charities, but it also gives the rowing team motivation, purpose, and focus during those inevitable difficult moments of their crossing. We have chosen to raise funds for two charities, The The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and Alzheimer's Research UK.
Meet the siblings! We are brother and sister, Giorgia and Louis Webb from South Yorkshire. You might have noticed the horseshoe in our logo - we come from an equestrian family and horses remain a common thread in both our lives!
